Mo Foe

Movember ends today.

You don't have to shave off your moustache, but you do have to stop going on about it.

Special

I don't get it.

I've no idea how much training you need to be an optician, but I'd imagine it's enough that you'd would want to give your occular establishment a decent bloody name.

Mo Bile

As Movember draws to a close, we provide this handy photo of Tom The Selleck which you might like to compare your own growth to...

Carruther's Mountain Squirrel

Mr Carruthers may or may not have a species of squirrel, native to the mountains. It is known as Carruther's Mountain Squirrel, except when it doesn't pay its bills.

A baby Carruther is called a pup, a kit or a kitten. The females are called does (as in the plural of doe, rather than the third person singular present tense of do) and males bucks. A Carruther group is called a dray or a scurry.

They scurry in a hurry.

Here it is on Wikipedia.

I can't find a picture of one.

Mo On Show

I bet you can't take your eyes off this girl's Mo.

It's OK to look at her breasts now.

Bro Mo

I have no idea, but apparently these brothers (and their moustaches) are being spied on.

Choo-Choo-Choose Life

The 1996 movie Trainspotting, directed by Danny Boyle and based on a book by Irvine Welsh is all about the drugs. Mostly the heroin, partly the methadone and barely the speed.

While the film was in cinemas many journalist and idiot commented that the film's name was an odd one because "there are no trains in it."

The name of the film is indeed odd and intriguing and arresting, but not because there are no trains in it. The name of the film is indeed odd and intriguing and arresting, because it's a great name. Furthermore there aren't no trains in it.

Renton's less famous "It's shite being Scottish" speech is delivered having just disembarked from a train.

Idiots.

Goldfingered

It's one of the most iconic images in cinematic history. Jill Masterson, played by Shirley Eaton, gold and dead. Laying on a bed in a hotel room, sprayed and splayed.

But the question remains, how did Goldfinger get his name?

Kahlo Mo

Frida Kahlo famously painted self portraits with a unibrow. Well she didn't paint with a unibrow, that would be very odd.

Her moustache usually goes unnoticed.

Parting Parking

I can't decide if that's judgemental or just very, very inclusive.

A two minute silence please.

At least this guy doesn't talk back.

Mo Sew

If you can't grow a Mo, you can stitch one.

But is it just me, or does it look like a pair of shoes you might expect to see in a pantomime?

Mussolini

What's the one thing everyone seems to know about Benito Mussolini?

He made the trains run on time.

What's the one thing no-one seems to know about Benito Mussolini?

He didn't make the trains run on time.

Mo Ago

This is the oldest surviving evidence for Moustaches.

This Scythian horseman has been depicted in this Pazyryk felt artefact circa 300 BC with a moustache.

Everyone with a mo is part of a tradition dating back at least 2300 years.

We salute you.

Three-In-One Hoover

The Hoover that gave the name Hoover to Hoovers.

How many times have you said you were vacuum cleaning? Probably not a once. However "I'm just doing the hoovering" is quite a common phrase regardless of the brand of the vacuum cleaner in question.

They may well make wonderful vauum cleaners, but those people at Hoover clearly can't count.

Mo Na

The Mona Lisa, painted by Leonardo Da Vinci, famously has no eyebrows.

It looks like they've slipped.

Mo Than Ever

Not shaving for the whole of November may be a chore to some, but Bajansinh Juwansinh Gurjar of India didn't cut his mo in 22 years and in 2004 it measured 12 feet, 6 inches.
