Splitting Hairs

Hair is a series of filaments of dead cells that grow on the skin of animals, usually mammals. In humans, hair often grows on the top of the head, where it is styled for cultural reasons. On mammals, it is generally termed "fur".

A beard is a growth of facial hair which was common among humans, the growth of facial hair is a secondary sexual characteristic of the male of the species. Usually. Not all males allow their beards to grow, and they are generally removed by shaving them regularly.

A razor is a device used to remove body hair, most often associated with shaving beards.

It's not funny, but it is true.
